Definitions
In this policy, personal information means information that identifies, relates to, describes, can reasonably be linked with, or could reasonably be associated with a particular user, device, household, or account, depending on the privacy law that applies.
Information provided by users
- Text prompts, generation instructions, selected images, and other content submitted to create a requested video.
- Support emails, bug reports, screenshots, issue descriptions, and information the user chooses to include in a request.
- Account information if the app uses account features, such as email address, login identifiers, saved creations, or profile settings.
- Transaction details needed to review purchase or refund questions, such as store transaction identifiers or subscription status.
Account and profile information
If Animora offers account features, we may process login identifiers, display preferences, saved creation references, entitlement status, account settings, and records needed to authenticate the user or protect the account. Users should keep account credentials private and contact support if they believe an account has been accessed improperly.
Technical and product information
Animora may process device model, operating system, app version, language or region settings, approximate timestamps, diagnostic logs, crash information, and network metadata. This information is used to operate the product, troubleshoot issues, secure the service, and answer support requests.
Website data
When users visit the website, hosting and security systems may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, referring page, page requested, and request time. The site may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies for delivery, security, preferences, and basic reliability measurement.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies, local storage, software development kits, and similar technologies may be used for website delivery, app functionality, authentication, fraud prevention, crash diagnostics, preference storage, and measurement. Users can adjust browser or device settings, but disabling certain technologies may affect product features.
AI generation inputs
To generate a video, Animora uses the prompt entered by the user and any image or media input selected by the user for that generation. These inputs are processed only to provide the requested generation, related review history, safety handling, support, and account controls.
Photos and face-related information
If a user selects a photo for generation, Animora processes that image as visual input for the requested result. Animora does not perform facial recognition, does not create facial geometry templates, and does not create biometric identifiers from uploaded images.
Self-operated AI processing
AI generation runs on Animora-controlled infrastructure operated for the product. User prompts, uploaded inputs, and generated videos stay within that self-hosted generation environment and are not used to train general AI or foundation models.
Sensitive information
Users should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information in prompts, uploaded media, screenshots, or support emails. Animora does not ask users to submit payment card numbers, government identifiers, medical records, passwords, or other highly sensitive details through prompts or support messages.
Generated content and user control
Generated videos, previews, and related metadata may be linked to the user's account so the user can view, reuse, report, or delete creations during the limited retention period. Deleting a creation or account starts removal of associated generation content from active systems, subject to legal, security, transaction, and dispute record limits.
How information is used
- To provide video generation, account features, creation history, and product settings.
- To respond to support requests, bug reports, refund questions, account deletion requests, and data requests.
- To protect the service against misuse, security incidents, policy violations, and platform abuse.
- To verify app-store purchases, subscriptions, refunds, or entitlement status when relevant.
- To improve reliability, fix defects, measure product stability, and understand aggregate usage patterns.
- To comply with law, platform rules, dispute handling, and operational obligations.
Personalization and product improvement
Animora may use product diagnostics, aggregate usage patterns, support themes, and reliability information to improve stability, user experience, safety controls, and feature design. Animora does not use user prompts, uploaded images, uploaded media, or generated videos to train general AI or foundation models.
Legal bases where applicable
Where a legal basis is required, processing may rely on performance of a requested service, consent for selected inputs, legitimate interests in security and product reliability, compliance with legal obligations, and handling of user or platform requests.
Consent and withdrawal
When a feature asks the user to choose an image, submit a prompt, enable a permission, or continue after a notice, the user controls whether to provide that input. Where processing relies on consent, users may withdraw consent through app controls, device permissions, account deletion, or a support request, although prior processing may remain lawful.
Sharing
Animora does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with operational service providers such as hosting, storage, email, security, analytics, crash reporting, and app-store platforms when needed to operate the website, app, support, and transactions. These providers are limited to operational purposes.
Operational providers
Operational providers may process limited information for hosting, storage, email delivery, security monitoring, app distribution, crash diagnostics, analytics, payment verification, and customer support workflows. These providers are not authorized to use Animora user information for their own unrelated marketing or general AI model training.
App stores and payment platforms
Purchases, subscriptions, cancellations, taxes, receipts, refund requests, and certain entitlement updates may be processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, or another platform that handled the transaction. Those platforms may process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Legal, safety, and business transfers
Information may be disclosed if required by law, court order, valid legal process, platform investigation, fraud prevention, security incident response, rights protection, or business transfer such as a merger, reorganization, financing, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.
No sale and no cross-context advertising sale
Animora does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those concepts may be defined by certain privacy laws.
Aggregated or de-identified information
Animora may create aggregated, statistical, or de-identified information for reliability measurement, product planning, security review, and reporting. Animora does not attempt to re-identify de-identified information except as permitted by law, such as to confirm de-identification safeguards.
Retention
Prompts, uploaded generation inputs, and generated videos are deleted from Animora servers no later than 36 hours after creation, or sooner when the user deletes the creation or account. Support, transaction, security, and legal records may be retained longer when needed for the specific purpose.
Backup and log records
Some security logs, backup records, platform transaction records, or support records may remain for a limited period after active deletion when needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, accounting, or technical recovery. These records are restricted to the purpose for which they are retained.
Account deletion
Users can request account deletion through the app profile or settings area when available. If the in-app control cannot be reached, users may email support and request deletion. Deletion removes account-linked data subject to legal, security, transaction, and dispute record limits.
Local device data
Some app information may remain locally on the user's device, including cached settings, downloaded files, or operating system backups. Users can manage local data through app controls, device settings, app removal, or operating system backup controls.
Security
Animora uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can remove every risk, so users should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through prompts or support messages.
Data accuracy
Users can help keep account and support information accurate by updating available profile settings and by providing enough context for support requests. Animora may ask for verification details before changing account-linked information or fulfilling a privacy request.
Children
Animora is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children where parental consent is required by law. If a parent or guardian believes a child provided information improperly, they may contact support.
International processing
Information may be processed in locations where Animora or its operational providers maintain systems. Privacy protections may differ by location, but Animora uses the practices described in this policy for covered information.
Regional privacy rights
Depending on the user's location, privacy laws may provide rights to know, access, correct, delete, restrict, object, portability, withdraw consent, appeal a decision, or receive information about certain disclosures. Animora will handle applicable requests according to the law that applies to the user and the request.
California notice
California residents may have rights to know categories of personal information collected, sources, purposes, categories of recipients, retention periods, and whether information is sold or shared. Animora does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Virginia and similar state notices
Where state privacy laws apply, users may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of certain information, opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling, and appeal a denied request. Animora does not sell personal information and does not use sensitive information for unrelated purposes.
EEA, UK, and similar regions
Where GDPR-style laws apply, users may have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent, and complaint to a supervisory authority. International transfers, where they occur, are handled using legally recognized safeguards or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
User choices and rights
Depending on location, users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or review of certain information. Requests can be sent to support@animoraai.net. Animora may request details needed to verify and complete the request.
Do Not Track and preference signals
Some browsers send Do Not Track or preference signals. Because technical standards vary, Animora responds to legally required preference signals where applicable and otherwise uses the privacy practices described in this policy.
Third-party links and stores
The website or app may link to app stores, operating system services, or other websites. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
Email and support communications
By contacting support, users authorize Animora to use the submitted email address and request details to respond. Users should not send full payment card numbers, passwords, government identifiers, or unnecessary private information in support messages.
Policy updates
Animora may update this Privacy Policy when product features, legal obligations, support practices, or data handling practices change. The updated page will show the latest effective date.
